We come directly to your hotel, Airbnb, vacation rental, home, or event location, so your group does not have to add another stop to an already full schedule.

The Day Before the Wedding

Pre-wedding celebrations should be enjoyed. They can also mean a late night, more activity than usual, and less attention to hydration, meals, and sleep.

Whether your group spent the evening dancing in downtown Nanaimo, gathering at a vacation rental, or celebrating elsewhere on Vancouver Island, some clients choose to schedule a mobile IV  appointment the following morning or afternoon.

Your group does not have to drive across town, sit in a waiting room, or interrupt the weekend. We bring the appointment to you.

The Morning of the Wedding

Wedding mornings are long. Hair, makeup, photographs, family, nerves, and last-minute details can all happen before anyone has eaten properly or had enough water.

For clients interested in treatment on the wedding day, an IM injection may be more practical than a full IV infusion. The appointment is shorter, there is no IV line to manage, and there is less concern about a visible IV insertion site before photographs.

Most people do not experience significant bruising from an IV cannula, but there is always a possibility. A wedding morning is not necessarily the ideal time to discover that you are the exception.

When clinically appropriate, an IM injection can be administered in a discreet location, such as the thigh, to help keep the injection site out of photographs.

The specific injection, dose, and administration site depend on the client’s health history, prescription, eligibility, and nursing assessment.

The Morning After

Once the photographs are finished and the celebration is over, the people who spent the weekend planning, hosting, travelling, dancing, and showing up for everyone else may finally have time to slow down.

This is when many clients choose to schedule a mobile IV appointment. Each participant completes a health screening questionnaire in advance so eligibility can be reviewed before the visit.

We come to your hotel, Airbnb, vacation rental, or home. There is no waiting room, no additional travel, and no need to organize the entire group before anyone has found coffee.

You spent the weekend showing up for everyone else. This part can be for you.

After the Wedding

Honeymoons, flights, ferries, visiting family, and the return to normal life can make the days after a wedding nearly as demanding as the event itself.

Some clients choose to schedule IV hydration or IM injection services during the post-wedding period, particularly when travel, disrupted sleep, and busy schedules continue beyond the reception.

There is no rule saying personal care has to stop when the confetti settles.

How Group Wedding Bookings Work

We accommodate both small and larger wedding groups, depending on the location, requested services, available appointment time, staffing, and nursing capacity.

Before the appointment:

• Each participant completes an individual health questionnaire.
• Eligibility and prescription requirements are reviewed.
• Your nurse confirms the location, timing, and group logistics.
• Each client receives an individual nursing assessment before treatment.

Not every service is appropriate for every person, and participation is not guaranteed simply because someone is part of the group. Safety and clinical appropriateness come before the schedule.

During the visit, your nurse brings the required clinical supplies, completes the assessments and documentation, administers the approved treatments, and manages the session from beginning to end.

It is one less thing for the people getting married, the wedding party, or the event coordinator to organize.

A $99 booking fee is required to secure the date and is applied toward the total package cost. Appointments outside our central Nanaimo service area are subject to a single round-trip travel fee that covers travel to and from the location, regardless of group size.

Hyndford Hydration is based in Nanaimo and provides mobile wedding and celebration services across Vancouver Island.

There is no travel fee within our central Nanaimo service area. A single round-trip travel fee applies to appointments elsewhere on Vancouver Island and covers travel to and from your location, regardless of group size. Contact us for a personalized travel quote.

Wedding and celebration dates can be secured with a $99 booking fee. Because group appointments require advance health screening, supply ordering, and scheduling, early booking is recommended, particularly for summer weekends and popular wedding dates.
